The Gaelic Society -held their monthly meeting in the Orchestral Hall, Rattray street, last night. The Chief (Mr 1). MTherson) and Chieftains Kenneth Cameron and Win. Duncan occupied seats on the platform. The Chief-called upon Mr M’Beath to open the programme with a Gaelic aoim. Miss Ewen danced a Highland fling ; = Mr Robb sang ' It's Just Lik-e Being at Home,’ and to an eiicorc_ Lnc Trail that Leads to Home ’; Miss M‘Kenzic danced a fling; Mrs Robertson sang ‘ Flar a Bhata’ and ‘Kleasgaich Og. The audience jmned in » Highland reel. Mr C. Raid sang 1 The M’Grcgors Gathering’ and ‘ Rose of Pka-rdv ’; Miss Riddell danced a sennntrrabhais; Mrs (Bnur delimited the audience with her rendering of ‘'the Auld Fisher’ and ’ O Sing to Me the Auld Scotch Bangs’ ; Mr Nicolson sang several Gaelic songs. Chieftain Kenneth On moron concluded'tho musical programme by singing a. Gaelic song, ‘ Soraidh Slu-u lo Fronn-Airidh.' Mr Boysc-u acted, as accompanist, and Pipers M’Killop and Angus M’MiiUm supplied the national music. A dance followed, with Mr Alex. M'KePzie as M.C.
