OBITUARY

Our Christchurch correspondent telegraphs:—The death occurred suddenly on Tuesday evening of Mrs Frank Cowlishaw, wifo of" tho well-known solicitor, the cause being heart failure. Although Mrs Cowlishaw had not a strong constitution, her death was unexpected. She had been about as usual until Tuesday evening. Mrs Cowlishaw was Miss Marriott-Watson, daughter of Mrs Watson, of Cranmer square, and sister of Mr Marriott-Watson, tho well-known novelist. Sho leave* two sons (Mr Wynne Cowlishaw and Master Jas. Cowlishaw).
