FINAL RALLIES. Cr Begjj's meeting in the Burns Hall last evening was largely attended. The •invitation extended to councillors was availed of, and short addresses were given by Ors Douglas, Bradley, Thompson, and Sir-cock. Cr Begg was accorded a good bearing. Mr W. E. S. Knight, chairman of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, presided. Or Gilkison's meeting in the Walker Street Hall was also well attended. Mr G. L. Denniston presided. Cr Black spoke in the Grand Picture Palace, about 200 electors being present. His Worship the Mayor was in the chair.
