The Monowai sailed this afternoon for Ea,st Coast ports and Auckland with a large passenger and freight list. She is due back at Dunedin about May 12. THE WHAKATANE. A Press Association telegram states that the Whakatane, which arrived at Auckland last night from New York, was berthed at & d,m. to-day to discharge cargo. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co., local agents for the Whakatane, advise that the vessel is due at Dunedin about May 15 to discharge 1,634 tans of general freight. ANTIOPF. FOR AUCKLAND. Cable advice received states that the Dunedin-owned barque Antiope left San Francisco on April 28 for Auckland Avith a full cargo of case oil. She should reach the Northern, port about the third week in June.
