SCHOLARSHIPS ART UNION

Mr A. J. Bloxam, who will be remembered as a former resident of this City, has been in Dune din in connection with the Trent-ham scholarships art union, and went on to Invercargill to-day. As the advertisement states, " thousands of men have given their lives or their limbs for you. Are you going to help them to become equipped for the future with a sound education? That is the worthy object of the Trentham scholarships." Nothing further need be said to induce people to buy tickets (Is) in this art union. The value of the prizes is £6,285.
