A I'i.port was circulated in Roefton on Monday last that a new lode had. been discovered on the Blackwaier Gold Mining Company's property at Waiuta. Thestone was found by the timber contractors, and lies considerably to tho west of the present line of roof. It will probably reach into tho adjoining leases, Tho Rise and Shino No. 2 dredge reports 21oz 7dwt for 131 hours' dredging. The Rising Sun dredge ret/uro this week is Sloz 9d\vt.
