Mr 0. E. Beazl-oy, 15 Kvigour street, Roslyn, has received advice that his eldest son, * Cbas. William Dixon Beazley, died from wounds on September 9. Private Beazley was born at Hoathoote Valley, and was educated at tho Heath-cote and Rioiimond Schools. Ho camo to Dunedin with his parents in 1906, and was employed bv Messrs Gaud in and Monr and Scott and Sons, of this City. He left with the Sixth Reinforcements, and saw service on Gallipoli, afterwards going to Franco, whore ho was previously wounded. His youngest brother, Private 0. 0. Beazley, is serving with tho Thirty-eighth Roinforcoments.U
