THE VAL TRIGGE MISSION
' Tho Constraining Love of Christ' was the title of an address given m the Burns Hull vesterday afternoon by tho Ilev. Val Triage. At the evening meeting the preacher spoke with, force on the words " Jesus of "Nazareth pa-ssetli by." One's interest in this statement, he said, would be in proportion to his sense of need. Tho on<? need of the blind man's life was to get evesight, and when Jesus was passing by he reasoned ; " I want eyesight. Oh, Jesus, nava mercy on rnc." If there wag no renso of need, then Jesus in passing by would have little interest for one. Tt God could do nothing for a man in this work! or in the next, if a man was satisfied with his present condition, tho greatest crowd that ever was might cry out " Jesus of 'Nazareth passeth by,'"' and it would have no effect. The frreaiest mvsterv about creation waa the freewill of man. God was almighty, and controlled the universe, and yet man could close his puny fist and keep God back from doini; the greatest pood that God could do. Tf a man would not open the door, Christ could not enter. A man by his own freewill must open the way to his heart for Christ to enter. _ To-night the Rev. Mr Tngge will deliver an address to which ho _ attaches special importance, tho title being 'The Great Solv-al.'
