RETURNED SOLDIERS

DBAFT 129, The transport that brought draft 129 to New Zealand arrived at Port Chalmers-at 8 a.m. to-day. She stayed four or five hours at Auckland, three at. Wellington, and throe at Lyttelton, and made a faster passage from the latter port than "was expected by the Defence authorities. Major Hickey and Captain Myers went to Port and supervised the landing. Most_ of the men came to Dunedin by the tram that left Port at IL3O. The transport quarter-master is Lieutenant F. Ivibblewhite, and associated with him are Regimental Sergeantmajor E. P. Greenwood. Sergeant H. L. Lindsay, and Sergeant P. R.
