LONDON, January 6.(Received January 7, at 10.40 a.m.) The granting of a war bonus of 12£ per cent, to skilled engineers last October has created a tangle of claims from other industrial sections, accentuating the labor difficulties. Meanwhile, the exorbitant wages earned by piece-workers fan the flame; Instances are quoted of men at Sheffield earning £3O to £45 weekly. __ The new bonuses, at the present rate of progression, are estimated to cost the country- £100,000,000.
