"- (Received January 1, at 9 a.m.) A Russian wireless message states that " deserters declare that as a consequence "hi., the ..drafting .b£_all German soldiers under 35 "years for the western front, which has been going on in contravention of the terms of the armistice, desertions are numerous; They also state that 25,000 German troops in the eastern part oE the province of Krovno (Dwina area) have revolted, and are entrenched with rifles a,nd 'machine guns. The authorities are powertss, and are trying to cut off the rebels' food supplies.
