LATE SHIPPING
The Wimmera arrived at Gisborne at 7.30 p.m. yesterday, from Auckland, and sailed at 1.30 a.m. to-day for Napier, Wellington, and Dunedin. The Te Anau arrived off Bluff this morning from Port Chalmers and berthed at the southern port this afternoon. She is expected to sail to-morrow for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland'. The Komata arrived at Picton at 9.30 a.m. to-day from Westport. She is expected to sail this evening for Wellington.
MARAROA'S ROUGH TRIP. The Union Company advise that the ferry steamer Mararoa. -was delayed by a strong southerly gale on the trip from Wellington to Lyttelton last night, the weather being exceedingly rough after the vessel had passed Cape ' Campbell. She did not reach Lyttelton until 12.5 to-day —nearly four hours late. The railway officials_ kept the southern, express back for mails and passengers. WELLINGTON LABOR TROUBLES. [Peh United Peess Association.! WELLINGTON, October 19. The labor troubles in connection with the two oversea steamers which have been held up at Wellington have been settled.
