SCHOOL COMMITTEE

The monthly meeting of the Caversham School Committee was held last evening, Mr J. Brown in the chair. The Visiting Committee reported that the work of tho school was proceeding satisfactorily, and that the school buildings and grounds were in good order, only minor matters requiring attention. The head master reported an attendanco of 622 for tho month, out of a roll number of 653 slightly lower than usual, owing to the prevalence of influenza. The school choir are to give a concert in His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday, November 3, in aid of tho funds of the Red Cross Society.
