At tbe evening public meeting,- held in i.M.C.A. Buudmgs, -Mrs Driver* crave an interesting address on the life of Josephine Butler. 1 hOl c was a good attendance and tiro members wore enrolled. At the afternoon meeting on Tuesday correspondence was read fiom Mrs Jiulson (national superintendent- of .good, citizenship), an d from the Education Hoard, stating that, as a _ result of the deputation from the W.C.T.U., that body had passed the following resolution That the board are of opinion that the time lias come for the study of sex hygiene to he made a definHe part of the school curriculum, and urge the department to appoint special travelling teachers .to give the necessary, instruction.” Mrs Peryman gave nu address fcu the proposal to increase the number of issues on the ballot paper in regard to the drink traffic. The union are in favor of the ballot paper remaining as at present -
