BABY WEEK
A meeting of the Baby Week Committee was held yesterday evening, tho Rev. A. Cameron presiding. A large number of leaflets, panip»'ets, and posters for distribution during the campaign were submitted and approved by the committee. Dr Sydney Allen proposed that a cony of the leaflet written for tho school children be forwarded to the Hon. Mr Hanan, with a request that the Health Department be responsible for the printing and distribution. The following committees were appointed:— Publicity.—Drs S. Allen, Trubv King, and Williams, Messrs W. Jenkins, E. S. Wilson, A. Barnett, G. Markby, John Hamer, and the Mayor. Schools.—Dr M‘Cahnn, Messrs D. T. Fleming, S. M. Park, M. Cohen, G. M. Thomson. Mesdaraes‘W. L. Moore, J. M'George, and J. 0. M'George. Finance.—Messrs P. R. Sargood, W. L. Logie, J. C. M'George, Jos. M'George. and J. J. Clark.
Great interest and enthusiasm wore evinced, and no effort will be spared to make Baby Week a success and a preeminent benefit to the community. The Rev. A. Cameron has undertaken to notify all churches and Sunday schools of the impending function.
