At the Supreme Court at Hamilton yesterday, before Mr Justice llosking, a boy aged 15 years,. who had adopted an alias, was brought up for sentence on a charge cf forging and uttering at Rotorua, The prisoner stole a blank cheque from his employer, filled it in, and gave it to another hoy to cash. The attempt was unsuccessful, and the boy was arrested. His Honor said the accused was the youngest prisoner with an alias yet to come before him. He would give him one more chance on tho understanding that he returned home. The boy had run away. The prisoner would be convicted and discharged, and ordered to come rip for sentence when called upon. He would be placed under the supervision of the probation officer for J8 month" ;i
