NATIONAL APPLE SHOW
This show promises to be a. magnificent exhibition of the fruit products of New Zealand, as from Auckland to the Bluff will bo represented both in tho provincial bays and in private entries. The Provinces are ail represented, and ihoir various representatives are bard at work erecting and getting their stands ready for the display of ■their fruits. Seme, very novel features are promised, and the hall will be beautifully deeorated. The . show is to be opened, on Tuesday afternoon by the lion. D. \V. S. Mac Donald, after which it will be open daily from 10 a.m to 10 p.m. The proceeds of ail kinds, from attendance money to sales of fruit, go to tho various patriotic funds, and it is hoped that a good sum may he gathered in for this good object.
