ROSLYN BATHS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Permit space in your columns to express the dissatisfaction of many bathers regarding the method of cleaning tiro Roslyn baths. Sometimes they are cleaned with buckets and brooms; ofteuer the baths are half-emptied, and then filled up with fresh water without the bottom or sides being touched. The bottom is so slippery that it is hard for a bather to keep his feat. The caretaker was heard to remark, with a certain amount of truth, that there was enough slime and vegetable matter on the bottom to manure an acre of ground. To obviate complaints I would suggest to the City Council that the cleaning be done by water pressure and a hose, as is done in other baths, or that a deputation be formed and wait on the City Council.—l am, etc., . Clean Bath. January 27.
