The Kirk Session of the' South Dunedin Presbyterian Church, in their annual report, elate -that another year of good ■work accomplished, has. to be recorded. The Rev. R. Dining the year 17 persons havo/been. received by examination into the membership of tho church, and 25 by certificate from other congregations. Two members have been removed by death, one has been reported, killed in action, 19 have been granted disjunction certificates, and six names have been ex l ponged. The membership now numbers 414 —an increase of 14 over last year. In recognition of his long and fahhuil services the session- unanimously appointed Air M. G. Thomson as a life member of committee. Air David ATFarlanc, one of our most promising young men, who left New Zealand with the main body of the Expeditionary Force, was killed in actum at Gallipoli. Since last report tho number of names on the roll of honor has, considerably increased. Some have made the supreme sacrifice, some have been -wounded, some invalided, while others are still in tho battle line or preparing to take their 1 places in it. The Committee of Alanagement report that owing to tho war no sale of work was held during the past year., but the members of the Ladies’ Guild are preparing for one to ho held in th© near future. To put the church environs in a bettor stale of order a working bee, which proved a thorough success, was inaugurated. The path alongside* Reid Hall received a muohnoaded coating of screenings.
