———O ' - At the annual meeting held at Wellington yesterday Mr T. Shailer Weston presided. Tho annual report was adopted. Officers were elected as follow : —President, Mr T. Shailer Weston (re-elected); vice-president. Mr T. BaUinser ; treasurer. Mr II Cmill : trustees—Messrs W. . IT. Bennett, A. E. Peafee, C M. Luke, and W. A. Flavell; Parliamentary Committee -—members of the Advisory' Board and Messrs S. S. Kirkraldie. A." C. Mitchell, J. Beveridge, H. F. Allen, and C. Cathie ; auditor, Mr W. C. Stephens (re.-elected). It was derided that the publication of the industrial bulletin be continued. It was decided to recommend tho Industrial TJnioi-. of Employers to nominate Mr William Scott as employers' representative and Mr William Pry or vas deputy representative on the Arbitration Court'. It was resolved that- the Government he tuged to take up the matter of the organisation of science in its relation to industry and education. It was unanimously decided that tho Government be urged to take. immediate action for the regulation of enemy trade after the war.
