PRINCESS THEATRE. Tlie cun-out programme of vaudeville at Die Princess contains plenty of good turns. The Robert Do Mont Trio, a troupe of acrobats, occupy pride of place on a bill that contains variety, ami the, acts of which are, of a kind that amuse and am aw. KNOX CHURCH RECITAL. -V very fine programme has been arranged for tho recital on Tuesday next. Mr Gale will play several items by composers whoso works have not been heard »i previous recitals. Those should prove both interesting p.nd instructive to musical student Miss S. M'Donald will sing tho lino sob', ‘Lord, to Thee Lach Night ami Iriy.’ from Handel’s ‘Theordora' - ; and Mr J. ,11. Gale ‘ f Reel the Dcilv’ and ‘Arm, Arm, Ye Brave,’ from ‘Judas Ma.ccabrrus.' The chinch ’-hoir will render several choruses. The, object—mugallant soldiers—should cufiure a lull church.
TIVOLI CONCERT PARTY. A musical event of importance will bn the appearance here of the Tivoli Concert Party at the King's Theatre on Saturday and (Monday next for two nights only. The company will consist of the successful vocalists and instrumentalists who rendered finch a delightful first part to theTivoli Follies’ production, and Mr Hugh D. MTntosh, in presenting (he party, has every confidence in their artistic merits to guarantee an evening of great pleasure to all patrons. Arrangements have been completed for Miss Ella Caspers, (he Austral arian contralto with “the voice of gold,” to make the tour, and this artist will he heard, in many popular numbers, her rendering of ‘ Coming Homo' while on the recent Follies’ tour having stamped her as a sincere artist. The Belgian Orchestra-, consisting of musicians from that battle scarred country who have nil been honorably discharged from active service, should create interest, apart from their nationality. They a.ro all art-fits of merit. Associated with them is another Belgian (a tenor soloist) in Jacques 801, who potst-RSo? a voice which he uses artistically in many of the favorite airs from grand opera, while music of the lighter side is not overlooked. Frank Greene, the well-known operatic haiitono, is also to make tho trip, and in addition to his rendering of many delightful Irish airs will 1«> heard in the •stirring poem written by, Gimmaert.-,, ‘Sing, Belgians, Sing.’ to which special music has been written by Sir Edward Elgar. The music will be performed by the Belgian Orchestra, and a fino spectacular tableau will be presented, representing Belgium triumphant over defeat. Tne box. plans opened at The Bristol this morning
