After loading a. quantity of product* yesterdav at the Port, the AVaiwera failed for Bluff. . . ... v The AA'inimera, from Melbourne, arrived at Wellington this morning. .She had 30 passengers :md about 1,000 tons.of cargo on board for New Zealand ports. The Wimmera is due here on Tuesday next.

The Kow-hai arrived here this morning from Oamaru. She sails this evening for Timani. Lyttelton, A\ T eatport, and Greymouth. The Monowai was due to leave. Lyttelton at 2 p.m. to-day, and is due here at 7 a.m. to-morrow. She will sail in the afternoon for Auckland via East Coast ports.

En route from Liverpool to Nsw Zcaland ports, the Federal and Shire Line's steamer Devon left Sydney yesterday for Auckland.

The Leitrim is due at Whangarei this week from Sydney to load for Home. She will fill up at Auckland. Another vessel to load in New Zealand shortly is the Roscommon, which is to call at Bluff .only from Australia.

According to the latest advices received by the Moana (says an exchange) the two anchors which were lost by tho Maitai during her stay at one of the Island ports last trip have not yet been recovered, although several attempts have been made in that direction. Owing to a miscalculation, one of the divers sent down was nearly suffocated owing to abnormal air pressure, and was just brought to the surface in time. THE FERRY SERA'ICE.
