IN EGYPT.
LONDON, February 28. The War Office announces that the fight on Saturday in Northern Egypt was a decisive British success. The enemy, under the personal command of Nuri Bey, who is Enver Pasha's brother, held a strong position south-east of Bami. General Peyton reports that the South African infantrymen's attack under General Lukin was completely successful. The Dorsetshire Yeomanry's charge was brilliant and most effective. During this charge Gaafar (Nuri Bey's priocipal officer) was wounded and taken prisoner, and Nuri Bey was killed. The enemy left over 200 killed and wounded.
