MAMMOTH DAILY OUTPUT. Dr Addison, M.P., Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Munitions, speaking at Shoreditch on August 5, said that he happened to know the numbers of shells turned out each day by Germany and Austria—he must not mention it—and when he got the information, it fairly took away, his breath. The figure was gigantic. But we and our Allies could beat the enemy even at that game. In that part of London there were considerable engineering works, and that morning Mr Lloyd George had decided to have conferences within a few days, so that the engineering resources of all firms could bo utilised fullv. ,
