- "To-day. Sheep.—3,s2s penned. A fair yarding, prices being about the same, if not easier, than last week's. Freezing buyers were operating freely, and every lot was' cleared at values slightly. below last week's. Extra prime wethers brought up to 425. 6d; prime, 35s to 38s 6d; medium, 27s to 31s: merinos, up to 235; extra prime ewes brought up to 38s 3d; prime, 31s to 365; medium, 25s to 295; aged ewes in lamb were difficult to dispose of, and sold a,t 12s 6d oer head. Lambs.—MO penned. A fair' yarding. Included were three of the present season's lambs, which brought 20s 9d pet- head. Freezing buyers operated very keenly for hoggets. . ' Cattle.—26s yarded.
