LODGE MEETING

The Rescue Lodge, 1.0.G.T,, held their weekly meeting bn Tuesday evening, the G.T. (Bro. (Hilton) presiding. One. candidate was initiated, and an invitation to visit the Lily Lodge officially was _ accepted. Correspondence was received from the District Lodge, and comments were expressed on the late competition. Bro. M’Cartnv spoke on tho good of the Order, and urged the members to work more earnestly for the cause. .Satisfaction was expressed bv other members with the example of His "Majesty the King oil the drink question, also that the Mother ( ountry was taking action in this direction. The action of the Forbnry I rotting t lull in calling for lenders for licensed booths at their next meeting was criticised. Votes of thanks to the visitors was rc-poudcd to hy members from the Pioneer and Hope Lodges. .. •
