The members of the junior department of the Y.M.C.A. are taking a very lively interest; in the national fete and sale of work to be held next month. At a meeting of the older boys, held last week, strong oommittees were set up to run the various stalls and side shows, which will include boys' stall, soft drink booth, shooting gallery, 3d and 6d dips, and several side shows. The boys' stall, which will comprise anything the boys ■collect or make, will be divided into four partem—produce, books, fancy goods, and jumble. A gift social will be held for the purpose of creating further interest, also giving the boy and girl friends of the members an opportunity' to bring gifts to augment the stalls. A ladies' committee has also been set up, and will assist very materially in helping the boys.
