Callan, sen., presiding; to telicitatc the irish leaders ami the rrinie Minister or Great Britain upon the successful issue to which the Home lliUe struggle has been carried. The following resolutions were earned : "That a cable message ba sent to Mr John Redmond congratulating him on the Home Kule Bill becoming law, and congratulating him also on his patriot-is and statesmanlike speech on. the attitude of the Nationalists during the war," and "That a cable message De sent to the Kight Hon. Everyone present knew that from the earliest stages of tho Home Rule movement the bulk of tho Irish citizens of Duncdin had been enthusiastic in its favor. Prom the time j when John and William Redmond were I here in 1883 this enthusiasm had been revealed, not only by tho great attendances at Nationalist meetings, but also by the substantial contributions made to the fund. Now at last a Homo Rule Bill had been placed on the Statute Book. They niii3t not, however, blind themselves to the fact that there had been a grave dilTerenoa of opinion a* to tha propriety of Home Rule, but there was every reason to believe that the attitude adopted by Mr John Redmond and tho Ulstjr leaders in combining against a foreign t'o3 would soften what asperities existed, and lead to fut'ire amity. (Applause.) Tho Rev. Father Coffey, in moving tho first resolution, said that they could hardly appreciate yet tho effect of tha fact that what most Irishman had been fighting for for 100 years had been gained, but they must all realise the great statesmanship that had been exhibited in tho campaign by Mr John Redmond (Applause.) Mr Redmond was capable of being Prime Minister of Britain, and but for the object to which he had devoted all his energies wculd have held a very high position in the British Parliament long ago. And now, in the present crisis, theie was no more popular person than John Redmond, who, after 40 years' fight against the laws of England, had turned tho current of Irish endeavor against England's enemies. (Applause.) He deserved their congratulations on both counts.

Mr Frank Armstrong, in seconding the resolution, announced himself the son of a rebel of '4B. Mr Shiel moved the second resolution, congratulating the Prime Minister, and this was seconded by Mr W. Coughlan. Both were carried unanimously, and the meeting conoluded with the singing of ' God Save Ireland' and the National Anthem.
