LATE SHIPPING
ON OPOTIKI BAR. A Press Association message states that the Fairbairn, an auxiliary schooner of 95 tons, laden with bricks, is ashore on the Opotiki bar. She was entering the harbor when the wind and tide carried her on to the beach, and was washed high on the shingle, whence she will have, to bo dug out when th<s weather moderates.
