MINING
The shareholders of the Sailor's Bend Dredging Company havo decided that ao the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue business lit should be wound up. Mr D. H. Rodgers. has been appointed liquidator, and the directors have been asociated with him in the disposal q£ the assets of the company. The erection of the novr winding plant at the main shaft in the Wiaiotahi mine is now completed, and work in the mine will be resumed during next week. The. plan of future operations in the mine has not yet been definitely settled, but tho manager, Mr Wanie, has submitted a scheme for future operations to the directors, who have arranged to visit the mino in the «axly part of the week to consult with (him and decide as to the course to bo adopted. -
