Christ-church and Intermediate Towns (overland). —6.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. at the C.P.O-; late letters, 7.40 a.m. and 8 a.m. (train); 10.45 a.m. and 11.15 a.m. (train). Invereargill and Intermediate Towns.— 7.30 a.m. and 3.45 p.m. at the C.P.0.; late letters, 8 a.m. and 8.20 a.m. (train); 4 p.m. and 4-25 p.m. (train). For Greymouth, Hokitika, and Reefton. —Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 1Q.30 a.m. For Cromwell, Clyde, Eanfurly, Naseby via Eanfurly, and intermediate officer, daily at 6.30 a.m.; late letters on guard's van 7.45 a.m. Late-fee letters only must bear Id in addition to the ordinary postage. Registered letter mails close one hour and newspaper printed matter and sample packets, etc., 30 minutes earlier than ordinary letter mails. Tho posting boxes on the second express being available for late-feo letters only, all books and packets must bo posted at the •chief office. For Bluff and Southland (per Manuka), at 8 o'clock this evening. Late-lettors, 2.30 p.m. train to-morrow'. For the Australian States via Bluff and Hobart, per south express, on Monday (connecting with the. Manuka at Bluff). Mails close at 6.30 a.m. Late-fee letters 8 a.m., and mail van at 8.25 a.m. For Maiden Island (war barque Irene), at 3.45 p.m. on Tuesday. Late-fee letters, 4.25 p.m. guard's van. For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, etc., via Montevideo and Teneriffe (due in London September 10), per north express, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Correspondence for the United Kingdom and Continent of Europe must be specially addressed "per lonic." Parcel mail doses 4 p.m. on Tuesday. For Fiji, Sandwich Islands, Fanning Island, Canada, United States of America, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, etc. (duo in London August 31), per north express, p,t 1Q a.m. on Wednesday. Money orders issued till 4 p.m. on Tuesday, and registered articles accepted till 9 a.at. Late-foe tetters, C.P.Q, till 10.30 a.Ea., guard's van till 11.18 a.m. Mails for Baiotoaga ami Tahiti (per Talune) will clofe at Auckland, on Tuesday, at 8.4$ a.m. Mails for Pago Pago, Apia (per Mafeiira) will dose at Aucklawi on Tuesday, at 3.45 p.m. Mails for the Australian States via Bluff and Hobart (per Manuka) will close at tho Bluff on Monday at 3.30 p.m. Wa.
