The conductor (Mr G. B. Laidlaw) and members of the Kaikorai Band were entertained by Mr J. G. Laurenson (one of the vice-presidents of the band) at his residence on Monday evening. After a substantial supper a short and enjoyable programme of instrumental items was rendered by the bandsmen. Before the proceedings terminated the band president proposed a hearty vote of thanks to the host and hostess for their kind invitation.
