COLD WORK ROOMS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, I 3.rn pleased that some people have the interests of workgirls at heart. We girls find it no pleasure to sit in a room without warmth of any kind eight hours a day. Cold feet all day bring many ills, and I think it time something was done to ensure the comfort of girls from whom much is expected. Ara there any kindhearted employers in Dunedin! fiorc.c of th© leading firms hare work rooms which should be called freezing rooms. It would pay them better to do away with freezing rooms; then the girls could work twice as well, besides taking an interest in their work. Hoping someone will earn the gratitude of hundreds—l am, etc.. Fair Plat. June 8.
