BIBLE-IN-SCHOOLS LEAGUE

Bishop Nevill presided over the monthly meeting of the Dunedin Central Committee of the Bible-in-State-Schools League,’ held in First Church Hall yesterday afternoon. , The secretary (the Eev. W. Gray Dixon) reported that the Rev. Robert Wood had agreed to the request of the executive that he should 'give up half of his time to the work of the league. Mrs Allan gave in a report on the women’s branch, which recommended the holding of regular meetings for prayer, also cottage prayer meetings. The appointment of Mr E. Roseveax as financial secretary was reported. The electoral supervisor (the Rev. I. K. MTntyre) reported progress in his department. It was agreed that the next meeting should take the form, of a conference, to which the members of the women’s branch would; be invited.
