Three directors of the Mitsui-Bussan-Kaisha Company, agents for the English firm of Vickers, Limited, are charged with bribing' Vice-Admiral Matsuimoto with £40.000 through the retired Vice-Admiral Matsuo in connection with a contract for building the cruiser Kongo. The agents’ total commission, it is said, amounted to £115,000.
