APPENDICITIS IN THE U.S. NAVY
(London ‘ limes ’ and Sydney ‘ Sun ’ Services.) NEW~YORK, April 26. Appendicitis is increasing to ouch an extent among the crews of the American battleships that it is now classified as an “occupation” disease. Official medical officers at Samoa state that cold storage meat seems to increase the number of cases, but death among them is rare.
