ROME, April 26. (Received April 27, at 8.40 a.m.) The Pope gave au audience to the Bishop of Maitland (Dr Dwyer) and the Bishop of Lismore (Dr Carroll). His Holiness displayed interest in the Church's work in Australia, and was gratified _ to hear of the good impression the appointment of an apostolic delegation had created.
