TRINITY METHODIST CHURCH
The meeting of the quarterly board cf Trinity Methodist Church was held on Friday evening. Feeling reference was made'to the loss the church had sustained through the deaths of Mr Andrew Gardner, a typical 3lcthodist class leader, and of Mrs bourne. A letter was received from the Rev. W. A. Hay, of Auckland, accepting, subject to the "approval of the conference to be held here next month, the invitation recently extended to him by the officers of the church to be successor to the Rev. P. W. Fairclough, whose term of ministry expires in a' few weeks. Messrs W.'H. Ferens and S. Lawn were elected circuit stewards for the ensuing year. The finances of the church were reported to be in a satisfactory condition.
