In the contest for army horses. Major Howard Brown, of the New York National Guard, won tho Plaza Cup, Americans also taking second and third places. The international jumping resulted as follows:—First, Captain Rodden (Montreal) ; second, Lieutenant Baron Demeslane, of the First Cuirassiers (France); and third, Captain Stewart Richardson, of the Eleventh Hussars.
