A Cabinet order has been issued which Mates that- officers in army and navy uniform must not dance either the tango or the one-step or the two-step, and must avoid privat-e houses where these objectionable dances are performed. As officers always wear thoir uniform at private, ba.lls this means that the. tan 3*o is practically banished, except from places of public amusement.
