The flic brigade were called and thj flames extinguished. After the brigade had left a further outbreak was discovered among 6ome eaeks ot clinker, 20yds from the previous outbreak. This having boon extinguished, th."> police were called, and they discovered that the building bad been visited surToptitiou ly by the removal of wire netting from th? windows, which had been left open in order to allo-v the malt to dry. The damage is trivial, but in tho Toom over ths spot where the eecorul fire occurred- £3,000 worth of malt, was stored.
