WELL OVER £3,0000 COLLECTED. The girls’ teams wore out and about in all that smother of wind and rain last night, and brought in over £4O. The girls’ collection as reported in the evening stands thus :
.A little more money was sent in by the girls this morning. All told, the campaign has yielded over £3,000. The exact amount will be ascertainable on Monday. Mrs Wilkinson, the treasurer, says that the executive of the Y.W.C.A. are delighted with the result so far, and specially pleased with the energy displayed by the girls. The campaign has not closed._ The set canvass is over, blit the executive know of certain sources that may be profitably worked, and the coloring will g0 on in a wa V until the £O,OOO is in hand. The new building isa necessity, and the public are going to provide it.
