Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK. March 22. Nine negroes were killed at Thomasville (Alabama) when the alleged robberv of £50,000 worth of property from a pawn shop became known. A mob of 5,000 people rushed the building, hoping to secure a return of their valuables. The police had to bo called out to quell the disorder. Manv pathetic scenes were witnessed, the ticket-holders being mostly poor people.
