A DEATH AND AN ARREST
[Pe3 Unitkd Press Association.] AUCKLAND, J [arch 22. George Hill, poundkeeper at Upper Queen street, who was admitted to the hospital on March 6 suffering from' injuries to his side as the result of an assault by a man named James Evans, died on Thursday night. Evans was arrested. At the inquest the jury found that death was caused by a blow by Evans. Tho latter was remanded.
