The 'Gazette' announces the appointment of the following to be medical inepectors of schools:—Dr .Ada' Gertrude Pateraon, Dr Elizabeth Catherine Gunn, Dr George Law C'awkwell, Dr Walter Kerr His lop. The R«v. J. C. Jamieson has accepted the position of assistant minister of Knox Church in succession to the Rev. S. C. Harbinson, whose term has almost expired, and who has decided to return to his home in Belfast. Ireland. Miss Linnet O'Keeffc, who for the past six years has been typiste in the City Corporation tramway department, was on Thursday last the recipient of a presentation on the occasion of her approaching marriage. The presentation was- made by Mr'C. Ale-xander, the tramway manager, and consisted of a tea and coffee service and a silver manicure set. The Rev. E. Bandy was, before his departure from the district, entertained at a social at the Primitive Methodist Church, Abbotsford.
