HEROIC FIREMEN
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, March 18. (Received March 19, at 12.20 p.m.) A number of -workmen wore overcome by gas in a sewer at Bayswatcr. Some firemen, with smoke helmets on, rescued two and bravely endeavored to rescue a third, but failed. The rescuers were repeatedly hurried to the surface in an unconscious state. Two firemen perished.
