NOT A CURE FOR EVERYTHING. Press Association—By Tele-graph—Copyright. LONDON, March 18. In reply to a deputation from the Trade Union Congress Mr Asquith said that there would be considerable demur to the proposal to nationalise the mines. Nationalisation in Prussia had proved unsatisfactory. The practicability of the nationalisation of the railways in England had not been proved.
