(Received November 14, at 12.50 p.m.) Before the Marconi Agreement Committee Mr Thompson, president of the Poolsen system in the United States, testified that the. San Francisco station at night time communicated with Honolulu, and that one remarkable night they read messages from the North Atlantic, 8,000 miles away.
