Addressing a large meeting of Unionists at Straffan, Mr Ronald McNeill, M.P. (U.), : said that the Unionists would shortly know the details of the Constitution whereby it was proposed to assume, if necessary, the provisional Government of Ulster. Thei-o might be some technical illegality, but there was nothing disloyal or rebellious to the Crown in the Ulster Unionist movement.
In a letter to a correspondent Mr Austen Chamberlain denies the rumored disagreement between, himself and Mr A. Bonar Law regarding the Unionist policy in Ulster.
A NON-POLITICAL FORCE.
LONDON, August 26. i The Lord Mayor of Belfast is forming a non-political force of citizen volunteers between 18 and 25 years of age, to which Boy Scouts will be transferred after they are" 18. Their drill and training will be a continuation of the Boy Scouts work.
