THE BALKAN DANGER.

FIGHTING ON THE .FRONTIER. BULGARIA'S ALTERNATIVES. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. CONSTANTINOPLE, August 22. Troops from Ipek have relieved Berana, but the fighting on the frontier continues. The Albanians at Uskub are dispersing. A bomb factory was discovered in a Bulgarian's house at Kuprili, and determined efforts are being made to exterminate all Bulgarians. Numerous assassinations are imported, the terrorists apparently being well organised. SOFIA, August 22. - A large meeting at Philippopolis urged war against Turkey in order to liberate Macedonia. Reuter advises that the Bulgarians think that M. Berchtold's invitation for an interchange of views between the Powers will only help the Albanians, and that it does not meet the situation. Everywhere in Bulgaria a cry is ascending that the only alternatives are autonomy for Macedonia or war against Turkey. THE KOCHANA MASSACRE. CONSTANTINOPLE, August 22. (Received August. 23, at 10.5 a.m.) The finding of the Commission of Inquiry into the recent massacre at Kochana is that the military were responsible. Steps have already been taken towards the punishment of the guilty.
